Long ago, when there was nothing but the heavens, the Gods roamed, always happy, always in peace, never with the fear that their peace would one day come to an end. But, as eternity spiraled on, one of the Gods became bored of this life of nothing but peace and happiness. And so, the God Abbas began a project, he would create a world all his own, and become the father of a new race.
But during the process of creating and thinking, Abbas fell madly in love with five Goddesses, and with each he boar a child.
He first boar a child with the Goddess Humus, and their child became the Earth, and the vessel for all life. Next, he boar a child with the Goddess Lacus, and their child became the flowing liquids that sustain life. Then, Abbas boar a child with the Goddess Impes, and their child became the spark of life in all things that live. The God Abbas then boar a child with the Goddess Aura, and their child became the breath of life, which encourages all things to live and continue living.
But the God Abbas boar a child with a fifth Goddess, the Goddess Magus, and their child was separate from the others. The child of Magus and Abbas was known only as magic, and resided within the Earth, the Air, the Water, the Fire, and also in certain creatures that inhabit these places.
Humans are the child of Abbas and Humus, but there are some humans blessed with the child of Abbas and Magus. Those born with magic in them, are known as Children of Magic, and said to have the Eyes of Magus. Those with the Eyes of Magus are distinct in their physical appearance, for they have deep, ethereal violet eyes. And with the Children of Magic, our story begins.
All humans have the innate ability to invoke the powers of magic, but not directly, for, magic is too unstable for humans to use without an aid. Humans use enchanted items, incantations, and circles and seals to invoke the power of magic. Those with the Eyes of Magus, however, can use magic without such needs, for their bodies harbor immense magic within them.
Because of this difference, ancient societies have often discriminated against those born with the Eyes of Magus. Individuals call them corrupt and wish be rid of them. As time moved on, Children of Magic were hard to come by. But, a war is rising, between two groups. The Contra Magus, those against Children of Magic, and the Cum Magus, those with the Children of Magic.
You must decide which side you will take in this upcoming war.
CLASSES:
MAGE- Humans who invoke magic by means of items, incantations, and symbols.
WARRIOR- Humans trained in combat who fight for either side and use non-magical weaponry and armor.
ASSASSIN- Humans who are normally neutral in sides, but will work for either side for a set amount. They often use magical weaponry.
CHILD OF MAGIC- Humans born with the Eye of Magus who do not require the use of items and spells to invoke magic. Most Children of Magic have a special magical ability along with their other natural magical abilities.
RULES:
1. Long replies of course.
2. Try not to make too many errors, they happen but keep them to a minimum to lower confusion.
3. No godmodding or anything like that. Your special ability (Children of magic only) needs to be something special, practical, and cool, but nothing way too out there or anything too massively powerful.
4.Unless you are an Assassin then you must pick a side, and Children of Magic cannot be against themselves.
5. Maximum of 3 characters.
