The Akakios people have remained hidden from society for centuries guarding a secret,a monster,and the human race.The Akakios people have remained hidden in a secret community because in public they would stick out.When a child of the Akakios people is born they are sent through the labryth to find their guardian.Their guardian is an animal that has a speacial connection with their partner,so if one of them was injured they both would be.If the partner dies so will the guardian.But if the guardian dies the partner will be sent into a coma in the unlikely event that they do wake up the partner will never be the same.All animals thrive in the Akakios community including those deemed "Mythical" or "Exstinct" by modern day society.

A group of teens who Akakios people have been plucked from society and have been chosen to become a Guardian.An old threat has become loose,it's commenly known as The Black Death.Named after the plauge for one reason.The Black Death infects a person willing it to do it's bidding,The Black Death looks like tar as is absorbed by touch the only way to tell if a person is infected is that the skin on their back will have a black ink desine.The Black Death is infecting the public and it is up to this group of teens to stop it.They are The Gaurdians,will you join them?
